Autumn is here in all it’s multi-coloured glory. My amelanchier and fothergillas are changing into beautiful autumn tones of yellow, red and orange. The rowan trees are laden with red berries. And the grasses: Seed heads in various shapes and fluffinesses (that word had to be invented), wafting on the breeze. Preferably not too much of a breeze because if the storms wait until November then we’ll have a riot of colour, softened by the warm autumn light. Hopefully you find the time for a few walks in the autumn woods.
Enjoy your garden!
