Places to be

It’s so easy to get carried away in the garden – there is so much to do…

But we all need to make sure that our busy lives also give us a time out. To sit and enjoy, to read, to do whatever works for you to relax and enjoy your garden.

At any garden consultation I mention seating sooner or later – whether this is a bespoke bench or three bits of wood. Or a mobile seat, if you prefer to lie rather than sit when reading and don’t like deck chairs.

Place your seat by your favourite view and/or in a secluded spot and/or as a focal point in the garden, and BE in the garden, with your cuppa, away from the rest of the world.

(Apologies, non of my clients volunteered for a picture .. – not sure I am enjoying the book though.)
